What is your Chinese zodiac animal?

I was born on the Horse zodiac sign. Here's what you need to know about the Horse sign:

Those born under the Chinese Zodiac sign of the Horse love to roam free. They’re energetic, self-reliant, money-wise, and they enjoy traveling, love and intimacy. They’re great at seducing, sharp-witted, impatient and sometimes seen as a drifter. Compatible with Dog or Tiger.

Horse people are active and energetic. They got plenty of sex-appeal and know how to dress. Horses love to be in the crowd, maybe that is why they can usually be seen in such occasions like concerts, theaters, meetings, sporting occasions, and of course, parties.
The horse is very quick-witted and is right in there with you before you have had the chance to finish what you are saying: he's on to the thought in your mind even before you've expressed it. In general, the Horse is gifted. But in truth he is really more cunning than intelligent - and he knows that. That is probably why, most of the horse people lack confidence.

Chinese believe that because horses are born to race or travel, all Horse people invariably leave home young. The Horse despises being pressured to act for the good of the group or made to feel guilty. No matter how integrated he seems to be, a Horse's inner self remains powerfully rebellious. Although they have boundless energy and ambition, Horses have a hard time belonging.

The Horse is hot-blooded, hot-headed and impatient. He is a bit of an egoist, well, selfish sometimes, that it is rare for him to interest himself in any problems except his own. And though this egoist works only for himself and for his own success, his work nevertheless benefits everybody.

The Horse is a worker, adepts at handling money and a good financier. But unfortunately, he is also famous for suddenly losing interest on something. In his relationship with opposite sex, the Horse is weak. He will give up everything for love.

Being born a Horse, there are many contradictions in his character. Horses are proud yet sweet-natured, arrogant yet oddly modest in their approach to love, envious but tolerant, conceited yet humble. They want to belong, yet they are burdened by their need for independence. They need love and crave intimacy yet often feel cornered, pressured. But the truth is, the Horse is an individual, who depends only on his wits and his labor to get what he wants.

What is the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen?

I'd say the landmarks/landscapes,the ocean, the wind, the green forests because nature is one of the beautiful things God bestowed to us. In short, there is life. Another is I'll never forget the first time I've seen two rainbows appeared together on gray clouds, and it's still a beautiful memory for me until now <3. All things bright and beautiful just as God is. :D)

What is your favorite Disney movie?

Mine is 'The Little Mermaid' cause I had Ariel as my cake decor theme + birthday theme and my unforgettable first ballet performance with that story. Not only that, I love jamming with the song 'Under The Sea' and can't get enough of hysterical Sebastian moments ^__^

Lion King is also the best Disney movie ever ^__^

For the comedic, hysterical, happiest movie --- I go for 'The Emperor's New Groove' with non-stop LAUGH-O'-LOUD and "It's all about . . . M E !!!!"

Lastly, I'm a big fan of classic Disney Princesses Movies cause their stories are magical, believing in dreams come true and an inspiration for girls who wants to be a princess. They're the core of Disney Movies too :))

Do you play a musical instrument? For how long?

Definitely yes (back in the good old days). The first instrument I used to play was piano at a young age. I took piano lessons; later, I decided to quit because I find it too hard to play that instrument, not even seeing any interests on it. Now I decided to buy some time getting another piano lesson because I found quite interested listening to every soundtracks in the background.

I also play the flute (that's what I call, but it's called the recorder) since Grade six. It was the easiest instrument. Those days we were taught to practice songs for the instrument like the Philippine National Anthem, Christmas Songs, and the famous song "I just called to say I Love You") Right then, I started to compose songs which can be played with the recorder (e.g Cardcaptor Sakura's "Yoru no Uta", Pokemon's "Lugia's Song", Lacus Clyne's "Shizukana Yoru Ni"). So if I have time feeling to play my recorder, I would like to try compose other songs, and hopefully, get back on the piano lessons ^__^"

What was the longest road trip you ever went on? How did you pass the time?

There were two longest trips I'll never forget: Davao City and Surigao del Sur. On my first trip to Davao, it's gonna take about 6 hours to reach that destination by a vehicle.

Contrast with the first, this is the longest road trip for the record: Surigao del Sur ---> takes about 11 hours and 10 minutes to get there, again, by a vehicle. We traveled by morning (7:30am) until we reached this hardest destination by night (7:10pm). During that time, we only have two or three stopovers, got into a wrong road which leads to Surigao City (so we have to trace back) and the longest one we ever took via a shortcut (which is not a term for that, but by means of "long"cut) to Surigao del Sur after we took the road to Agusan del Sur.

I prefer long road trips because I get to see more of the spots I've never been before just capturing on cameras. Sometimes, it's really make me bored I ended up sleeping 'cause it's taking very long and grown weary repeating all tracks on my mp3 player (but in that case, I'll end up missing the sights of great places by sleeping). For the first time when we passed the road in Agusan del Sur, we witnessed the real illegal logging (which the trucks do the delivery for it), so that makes it an educational trip. And this is my favorite road trip to visit: the Bukidnon-Davao Overlook which resides many hills and a break-taking view of the province. And whenever passing on that national highway, you get the feeling it's like taking the Kenon Road in Baguio City because of its cool chill pine trees.

Why would a journey would end so simple if you can still recall it back with a diary in hand? Missing that old stuff --- I wanna go on another longest road trip someday ^__^"

What was the first video or computer game you ever played? Did you love it or hate it, and why?

Sega was the first-ever video game I had since I was a kid. From that, I played Sailormoon fighting style game, Sonic the Hedgehog and my all-time favorite Bare Knuckles. I come to realize, I was in love with fighting-style games . . . until I have my first try on this popular game: Tekken.

On my childhood years, my mom went to Manila for seminars. As the plane leaves the airport, that's when I started to cry a lot. That's when my dad decided to cheer me up with a little medicine ... that's how I got my first encounter in the world of arcades. It was an antidote --- a remedy from my tears that I started to get addicted --- just for a bit.

Until now, Tekken 6 becomes my favorite game I wanna have my hands on. I do want to own a PS3 this summer. I can't get off my mind polishing some fighting techniques and whip someone's butt! :D

Do you have a childhood friend that you still think about and miss? What happened to him or her?

definitely yes. however, i could not remember her whether she was my classmate during my nursery days. the worst of it --- i barely remember her name, her face, not even her interests --- because she is the only childhood friend i know. what's left to recall was her house found at the back of Hyundai car service center, nearest to our school.

probably, eleven years ago or so, we were moved to province because my parents found a better living with their jobs. we left our house because we will be back living on the city once I started my college years. on my high school years, our housekeeper told me that my (long-forgotten) childhood friend was looking for me. as she narrated, day after day --- or just a week, she went to my house asking if I was around. The housekeeper sadly told her we all lived in Bukidnon. now that I'm here in the city right after my high school graduation, I was still thinking where my childhood friend right now. my father told me they might have moved to Manila.

desperately until now, i was hoping i could see her again. i would have to go to her house on the outskirts of our subdivision, but surely... she's no longer residing there. leaving everything to God and the time we will see each other again --- if she can still recognize or remember me... wherever we are. that is something as easy to bring back that time.

If you could take an all-expense-paid two-week vacation to anywhere in the world with one friend or partner, where would you go and who would you take?

This is the kind of question I'd love to answer :) These are the top places I want to grab my digital camera and click:

*
Canada (my first priority: Long-time REUNION with my best friend for four years)

*
Japan (somehow I have to post-pone it because of devastating earthquakes and aftershocks) :'(

*
Italy (everyone loves to head out to the most romantic and attractive places --- chow down on
mouth-watering pizzas and pastas)

*
London (too bad I couldn't get my ticket to see Prince William and Kate Middleton's biggest
wedding this year... but I love to see the landmarks, palaces and countrysides)

*
Sweden

*
Macau (a romantic gondola ride and marvelous wonders awaits!)

*
Australia

*
the rest of US =D

Speaking about companies, traveling the world by yourself is a thrilling freedom then record everything on the diary or journal --- or simply the pictures itself tells the story. But for me, I'd rather have traveling companions such as my cousins and my long-time best friend (once I'm finally reunite with her in Canada) because it will be my first experience to step out of my country for a meantime. It will be much more fun to have them because they already gained more experience --- besides, there always be tons of taking pictures while visiting the places! =D

What was the best night of your life so far, and what made it so special?

I don't have the best night of my life . . . except it was almost too close but letting this chance slipped away. I was blind to notice that my love interest was also there the night of our Graduation Ball before the day we march to the stage. Right after this so-called pageant "Mr and Ms Alumni", I decided to go home because this Grad Ball was not too intriguing. . . until his text message. He was looking for me because he wanted to dance with me. Because we planned to go to the Graduation Ball together, my mind was running like a hamster; and as the Ball begun, sticking along my fellow English Majors, I forgot about him. What I expect that night was too far to reach the reality, just as seen in the movie 500 Days of Summer. That was also my greatest regret --- something I want to bring back.

Enough about that kind of expectation, this would be the best night to remember. Every evening, when the night sky clears, there would be thousands of stars glittering like jewels. One thing I would like to do is to find my star... like every romance novels can fantasize --- for lovers, they try to find the most brightest star among all, then naming it right after their loved ones. The other is stargazing, looking for my constellation, connecting the stars together like in the game of dots. Above all these things I imagine, this is my favorite --- sitting on the grass, under the night, starry sky with fireflies flying everywhere. They look like lanterns floating (from Tangled movie). You got the feeling these fireflies looked like falling stars from the heavens, brimming the world with radiance and wonders --- just like Owl City's "Fireflies".
